And now, a few words from me:

Well hello there! I just love people and am looking for a new home where I can get lots of cuddles and attention. I live with another little dog, but really would rather have ALL of the cuddles, so a home with no other pets would be my dream come true. I love to meet people (including kids) on my walks around the neighbourhood and I like to explore in the yard.  If you are looking for a great companion, fill in an application for me.

And now, a few words from my foster mom:

Ethel is a very sweet girl, who just wants to be loved. She will follow you around the house and climb in your lap whenever she can. She is pretty well house trained, walks fairly well on leash and loves going for walks. She only has a few teeth left, so is on a soft diet. 

Ethel wants all the attention for herself and should be the only dog in the home. She hasn’t been tested with cats, but seems to have a high prey drive, so probably would not do well. She can be leash reactive when she meets other dogs on walks, but this is getting better as we work on it.

Ethel is noted to have recurring mammary masses.  Some were removed quite a while ago (prior to coming into rescue) and she has since developed more.  The vet's thought is that they are benign as she has good health otherwise and a negative chest x ray.  Some female dogs continue to develop these, but being benign they do not require continued excision.

Ethel is looking for a special home, where she will get the one on one attention that she craves. She is a very sweet girl, who is all about people. If you are home most of the time, have a fenced yard and no other pets, Ethel is waiting to meet you.
